Gauges
ok so my buddy was like hey lets put some different gauges in place of your stock ones. ok no problem i s guess. we got em, i started to intall them, had to use a dremel and grind out some plastic here and there, doesnt look horrilbe. now none of my gauges work. except the speedo and fuel, i replaced the boost, oil to pressure gauges and the water is a newer electronic one. the boost and the oil arent going to work because im waiting for a new boost controler to come in and the oil needs the sandwich plate still. the water im sure is my fault i didnt exactly wire it up professionally. but my real question is why isnt my RPM gauge working now?

Did you cut or modify the flexible circuit on the back of the cluster?

Did you leave any screws out? Did you make the mistake of pulling power from the flexible circuit? If so pull the cluster and inspect it for burnt out traces.
