Oil pressure trouble
So I blew my turbo last year and just got it back on the car. Now I'm afraid to drive it because the oil pressure just doesn't look right. I'm at 40 lbs. cold and 20 or less warm. I've looked in the manuals, but no help there. I swear it was in the 80 lbs. range when I first drove it. Can anyone tell me what thier normal operating oil pressure is cold and at temp?

different oil grades will affect the oil pressure
using the incorrect oil filter will change the pressure . different size filters will fit on the supra make sure you have the right one engine rpm will also change the pressure

Thanks for the info guys, very helpful. I found oil leaking from the new gasket between the supply and return line and the turbo itself. I didn't notice it at first, I just hope i caught it in time and didn't starve the turbo for oil. Good way to F- up a new rebuild, huh? Thank you to everyone for their input.
