transmission fluid

just to know if its okay, I have heard its good to run automatic transmission fluid in a manual transmission in hotter temperatures is this true. and if so why is it good to do this

That statement is far too broad to apply to any/all transmitions. The only instances I have heard of using ATF in a manual is when it is recomended by the manufacturer ,and that's in newer trannys. Not something I would do to a MKIII. Just my 2 cents.

NO. Use a synthetic gear oil instead of ATF. Better lubrication, cooler running, longer life.

Amsoil
Redline MT-90
Royal Purple 85W
GL5 syn valvoline
etc.
