Default Pull-a-part opinions needed

I found out that the Pull-A-Part ten minutes from my office has two Mk III Supras right now. One is an '87 but the other is a '92. I'm going to see if either has the three piece wing I can snag.

Assuming these are there because they are wrecked, do I want to stay away from pulling a 5 speed + parts needed for an automatic to manual swap if one is available?

Also, what is the opinion on taking the turbo parts if the '92 is a turbo as well?

I have a lowrider Ford Ranger and the 5 spd tranny I put in it was from a junk yard and it was fine but theres no telling what kind of driver drove it, so its all up to what you feel like doing. It would really suck if you pulled it, swaped it, and come to find that the tranny has a blown gear. When I converted my Ranger from a auto to a 5 spd I used the master cylinder but purchased new all other clutch parts.

As for the turbo parts if there there, try and go for it. I just got a steal on a lot of turbo parts from a local shop, and they were all from a junk yard turbo supra, but I was lucky to get one with almost no shaft play or rotation play. If you pull it, check it and see if the turbo or turbos have any shaft play. Good luck.

most of my 5 speed part were from the junkyard.the flywheel, pressure plate, master cylinder pedals and stuff, and the tranny itself was only $60, junkyard parts save you a lot of money.

Thanks. I think I am going to stay away from the major stuff and just go for the things I can handle like the rear wiper motor, a wing and the front bumper/air dam.
