Default Loosing fluids..

Got my car back from the shop a few days ago after getting a full tune up and exhaust and I noticed I had no oil pressure. So I check the oil it doesn’t even show on the dip stick. I was surprised to see it so low being that I got them to do an oil change at the same time as my tune up. Not good, I check under the car and I see there is a slow leak from the front of the oil pan and the oil filter hasn’t even been changed. So I call up the shop and I guess there was a 'miss communication' and the mechanic didn’t do the oil change there where also tools left in the engine bay.

Any way I was writing to see if any one knows how much it would be to get an oil pan gasket done? But if it’s really easy I could do it.

Also I lost almost all clutch fluid last night anyone know where it could have gone, I know I need a new clutch within the year but I can not see anything?

Oil Pan Gasket NOT easy to change. Oil up front could be from crank seal, cam seals, oil pump shaft seal, or elsewhere.

Check all those first.

KEEP those tools for yourself ! Sounds to me like the mechanic AND the service writer/manager are fools, so you don't FOOLs working on your car.

Ask around for a good shop, and have them check out the oil leakks for you (and change the oil, too).

I bet they charged you for the oil change.

Since my city has grown alot over the past 5-6 years, a lot of idiots have opened shops here. They rip people off $$$, and when they actually DO the work they charge for, its crappy.

I wish I could get a job for the Dept. of Consumer Affairs as an undercover cop to bust these A-holes.

Yea they did charge me for the oil change, parts and labor. And I gave the tool back only because it was sent in today to be redone and I told them what would have happened to there shop if it had fallen in to moving parts. And if I blew my engine because of the oil I would have had them replace my engine and had called either Consumer Affairs or the media.
Would I be able to tell if there is a new fuel filter in it just by looking at it? Because I know how hard it is to get to so I figure it would be a good way to tell if all the work was done. I will check every thing I can but I think it’s a good place to start.

I guess it some where on the frame rail above the differential so it’s hard to get at and even harder to break free.
At least I think. Any one want to confirm that?
