Fluctuating Temp

I've just replaced a hose for the cooling system and of course flushed it all out and refilled.

Everything seems ok except that now when driving along the temp gauge starts to climb quite high and then drops back to normal.

Also, the overflow tank seems to have filled up to the top.

Now, I'm hoping that this is all just because I've refilled the system and there are a few air pockets that need to work themselves out.

If this sounds like a reasonable theory I'd really like to know.

Burp

In fact, you, and everyone else, needs to spend an hour or so and read EVERY thread in the FAQs section. You have a SPORTS car, and it seems most Supra owners do much of the required work themselves.

Sop you need to get REAL familiar with how to, and all the little quirks related to the Supra.

Let us know how it acts after you burp the air out.

Thanks for that. You're right of course, I should have checked first.

Final stupid question, what/where is the Water Heater Valve?
