Default Coolant Hoses?

hey all i had another bad experience with cracked hose this weekend and all my water left my vehicle, so i cut the hose shorter once i found it, and re-tightened the clamp and made a fix... but now i would like to replace all the hoses so this doesnt happen to me again. the one that broke on me this weekend went from head to what it seems is the firewall, i think, i'd have to go look again, anyways i was wondering if that hose had a certain name, also where to get coolant hose kit. Wouldnt mind them looking like the new guys lexus steel mesh kit either, thanks for any info

I think it is called the heater core feed hose because that is what it does you could always just buy some 1/2 inch hose and make a new one. Just be kind of giving on the corner and it should be fine.

Heater Water Outlet Hose Toyota part # 87245-24190 for a UK RHD

I would guess it would be the same for a US LHD

ummm goto www.summitracing.com
that is were i got my steel braided kit for like 25$
they also sell the metal bends like 45o and 90o bends so that way you wont kink the hose if you goto your auto shop and just buy new hose. plus it looks pretty

I just used a piece of straight GATES hose (top quality)from parts store and 'bowed' it over. No kinks, plenty of clearance, and looks OK.

You could get straight hose and come up off engine to a 90* elbow, then hose over to the heater fitting.
