Default wideband o2 installation

i ordered a wideband 02 sensor about a month ago, but ive been trying to get my supra up to a maintained level and finally shes there. im looking at the stock o2 sensor and its only got 3 wires, the ground, postive volt, and some other one, my new wideband has 5 wires and it cant plug in to the old adapter. any suggestions?did i perhaps purchase the wrong one(hope not).im hopin i can throw it in soon so i can get my safcII up and running. any advise would be helpful. thanks!

if youre buying a real wideband
you dont tap it into the stock o2 sensor,

the wideband will come with an o2 sensor bung which you need to weld about
a foot away from the turbo
and make sure its angled no more than 10' from the top of the pipe

the wideband is pretty simple to wire
since two plugs comes out of the unit
one with the 5 takes a monkey to wire it since you only have to put one plug to the other that connects it into the o2 sensor that comes with the wideband

the second one will have a blue, white, black, red wires
i ddnt even hookup the blue and white
jus power and ground,
its pretty simple
