Need Help Installing Tial Bov
I Just Bought A Tial Bov Flange From DriftMotion Do Any One Know How To Install Into Stock piping? Does AnyOne Know a Good location To install it in
Thank you and would i need to connect a hose into the intake manifold or can i just let the stock BOV stay connected to it thank you |
usally BOV's come with a T fitting, so if you want to leave your stock BOV on there you can, it wont harm anything and unless your running a piggybak or a stand alone i would recomment keeping your stock one on, as for the vac line any vac line directly to your intake is recommened if it came with the T adaptor thing go ahead and use it, as for location you can it loud and better Throttle respose the closer you have it to the TB.

so should i disconnect the hose from the stock bov and connect it to the Tial bov cuz it comes with a recirculator and i think i might have found a place thanks
|
if you want to you can, i recommend just taking it off. and blocking the stock BOV hose's with caps and just use the vacume line that went to your stock bov on the tial

here is an example of how i did mine

yeah i still couldnt get it to fit. And i went to an exhaust shop and they wanted to charge me 50 dollars for just a foot of piping so screw it ill just get piping from driftmotion

Hey man i have a big question when i took a hose to connect it where the old BOV was because i couldnt find any thing to stop it my car died at idle well if it idle at all.. What did you use to block it off so i can see if that will help my car out..
Oh on another note all the Tial BOV gave was a recirculater any help you can give me will help out alot ill post up picture of my .02 cent set up |
you can goto any automotive store and buy some vacume line plugs, or as for what i used for the stock BOV hoses a lug nut :P mmm but basically anything you can fit in that little hole, a screw, nail, a golf ball tee < thats your safest bet, i see the nail coming out and you running it over lol.
