Hey all,
I heard there are different versions of the A340E tranny. Is this the same as the stock '89 tranny?: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180159765755 I ask because there is another A340E on ebay that has a different look to it. Thanks for the info.

No that is for the MKIV.

So the item listed is actually an A341E instead of an A340E?

Well the 341 is the MKIV turbo auto, but the a340e the tranny was used in the MKIV non turbo but was also used in mkIII
