Wink silent killer

You REALLY need to run the exhaust out from under the car. Carbon Monoxide, an oderless gas, WILL come into the car. Then you will fall asleep at the wheel.

Been there, done that.

Another reason (besides water getting in) to have a good seal on the back hatch.

Never really thought about the exhaust fumes getting inside the car,
I literally jus have an open downpipe on my car,
So my whole exhaust is about 3 ft long
Not that u have mentioned it,
The sleepy feeling has occured to me more than once when I drive with the top on my car.

Although its kick-ass when my top is off
I love hearing the exhaust, my turbo when its spooling, and my bov when it goes off

Those 3 combined is a sound to be feared
I want another 350z pull up to me so my "old car" can once again show that it still is a car, that would whoop their 25k-30k cars

New school will keep changing
But old skool will always be old skool lol

Im going to look into exhaust cut outs but they seem to be pretty pricey.

What of you guys think of this 3" manual exhuast cutout? I would be able to run an open pipe when I want, and still keep my cheap ass Monza 2.5 catback.

You guys think itll work?

to me, and this is jus to me, not a fact, jus my opinion
cut-offs were popular when the import car's reputation was on the rise
lots of pple were using them to enhance the "sleeper aspect" of thier car
by being able to hide the cutoff and using it jus before the race

this is where it failed to me,
unless you buy those expensive cutoffs with the actuator
it wouldnt be a sleeper cuz u need to pop ur hood to take the damn cutoff out

Yeah that sucks that I have to get under the car to take the plate off. But the electric ones are to expensive for me. Theres also some that are controlled by a cable, but I heard they tend to leak.

no go on the cable ones, i have one of those on my camaro and it leaked, rattled, and then the cable was also a pain to install, i recomend just savin you money up for a electric one. otherwise you be slapping yourself.
