new turbo
ok so i have got a new turbo ordered
specs greddy GT 45 Compressor Wheel - .66 A/R, 48.9 trim Turbine Wheel - 1.05 A/R, 61.9 trim 4.25" inlet, 3.38" outlet T4 flange with V-band now i have a question about the v-band, since its not a straight bolt up to the DP what would i have to do to get it attached, do i just cut off the DP flange and put a v-band adaptor and get a v-band clamp? heres a picturehttp://i5.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/b7/8c/cfc0_1.JPGhttp://i7.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/b7/8c/d0e0_1.JPGhttp://i11.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/b7/8c/d172_1.JPGhttp://i15.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/b7/8c/d1f3_1.JPGhttp://i20.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/b7/8c/d2a0_1.JPGhttp://i7.ebayimg.com/05/i/000/b7/8c/d052_1.JPGhttp://i6.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/b7/8c/d350_1.JPG so what you all think, i'm also getting the aftermarket headers w/ 40-50mm wasgate flange and t4 flange. peak boost for this turbo is 35psi max 600hp |
jus get a new 3" downpipe, it will make ur life so much easier
for the meantime you can jus get a flange to bolt it with the rest of the stock exhaust piping, so when you get some more funds, finish up the whole exhuast with 3" piping that will jus easily connect and bolt up to the downpipe |
uh i already have 3inch eveything
3inch defcon DP with the 4 bolt flange 3inch DP back no cats |

but what i meant to say was, i thought u still had to stock downpipe so u can jus cut off the old flange, and weld the v-band flange on the dowpipe and connect it to the turbo, should be that simple |
sweet thanks
