Exclamation Gas Pedal problems please help ;)

Since i bought the car the pedal has to be pushed down quiet far for it to catch and actually start to accelerator the car.

Also its hard to keep it in low acceleration have to hold it just right and other than that its all mid range acceleration unless i completly push it to the floor and press quiet hard then the rpms will jump up about 1k vry abruptly and when i let off again drops down just as abruptly.

Anyway to adjust the pedal to smooth it out?

Throttle body linkage and work back.

Sounds like the main cable has took a dump on you.
Unless you can get it tightened up somehow.

Engine Under Cover No 1. Toyota part 51441-14110 Probably about $80 approx (at a guess) I would think.
