Exclamation ~~~Boost problem please help

Problem was turbo gauge shows boost but none of the power gets to the engine

took to several mechanics all said to replace the turbo... soo had a turbo rebuilt and updgraded it to a 60-1 trim or w/e

Put the new turbo in my car also replaced alot of rubber hoses that where cracked or had lost all flexibility.

Same problem, guage shows boost but no extra power gets to engine. at my wits end please help....

Side note, there is slight increased power. very minimal i think its due to the upgrade on this turbo when compared to the last, but somewhere along the way i loose most of my boost.

if the gauge is reading 8lbs then the motor is getting 8lbs as the sensor reads off the intake manifold. Are you getting any codes? Possibly code 52? Also check your timing.

ok, how does timing affect the amount of power my car gives me, when the boost cut on before it used to put me back in my seat i could FEEL the diffrence when it cut on....

something happend stoped feeling it, it was off and on for awhile then stoped giving me power all together. Places told me my wastegate was stuck open...

after pulling the turbo off the car realized that was not the problem... a little late at that point....

How do i check my timing? thanks for your help wish you where there when i posted about it in first place maybe woulda saved me the 750 for rebuiling a old turbo a had laying around with upgraded trim... ah well least i know my turbo will support my goal of 400-450hp and is in top shape
