Default what size mhg??

-.004 on the head and -.003 to -.005 on the block. what size should i get and whats the best brand?

1.2mm should still be fine unless you want a thicker one like the 2mm. i've used the cometic and hks, they both work the same and are metal. but the hks is more expensive than the cometic

what are the effects between the 1.2mm and 2mm on the engine?

It will effect your compression ratio, the thicker the hg the better (lower compression) if you're running higher boost
