Default Timing Case Crack!

So I got into my timing case to change out the crankshaft seal I thought was leaking and it turns out I have a crack in the timing case right about (but not connected to) the crankshaft seal right where it has a circular raised spot. So what do you guys recommend I do, I am worried about getting it tig welded because of the extreme heat that the seals would be exposed to (even if removed would the seal holes warp?) I thought of JB welding it but that seems like it would just complicate things if it didnt hold. Does anyone know how much a new one would be from toyota? I do have a 7mge engine are they the same? Any help/advice/info would be awesome. Thanks

Yes the front cover is the same on all 7m's. And it will be a total bitch to swap out. Do not weld your cracked one! I would play sherlock for awhile and find out what caused it to crack. Because it will most likely happen again.
