The green junk doesn't pit the head either, at least not while the silicates are still suspended in it.
By the way, isn't the pitting you mention exactly the same as corrosion? In other words, isn't your post redundant with the post I made prevously? If not (i.e. if you do have additional information to share, please explain. Not trying to be a dick, but what's the point of lots of posts all saying exactly the same thing? Is there any difference that you know of when you compare "it also dosent pit" with corrosion? If you do have any new/unique/original information to post, please do.
