It's because you can select the gear you need to use to leave a corner, in advance of hitting the corner. The driver (i.e. you) get to pick the gear you're in ahead of time. There's really no good way to do this with an (oem) auto, since it doesn't always shift up or down exactly when you want it to - the computer controlling the valve body picks the gear you're in, depending on the engine rpm, load, and a whole host of other factors.

I bought one from Toyota, and never sold it! ![]() I do have a few questions for you and/or the importers you talk with: 1) Did the '02 Mkiv TT come in a quicksilver 6spd hardtop? 2) If so, what would it cost to get one of these specific cars into Canada? ahha yeh that rule REALLY sucks out here. hate it .
The bf wants to get the Type R integra ( 2002 RSX ) #1So what am i looking at for a supra ( importing ) , is it best to do it myself? or through a company.. ex: my budddies skyrine shop? #2WHat are some typical problems that occur with most Supras? #3 someone wanna teach me stick? lol! ![]() ![]() |
