Q on Daily Supra
Hi im new to these car forums :]
My first car got totaled [ not my fault ] and right now in search of a new car. My uncles offering me his fd rx7, but i dont trust myself to maintain it. I found a supra with 78000 mi for 17k. It has the non turbo GE engine tho. My question is....is it worth it? Does the GE engine hold as great of potential as the GTE? Cuz if not, i dont plan on persuading my dad to get it. Thx :] |

Q on Daily Supra
Totally ignored stickies my fault most of my other questions were answered there.
New questions!! Im buying a 1995 n/a Supra. I plan on dropping in a turbo later on. From what i can tell from current info, ill need to upgrade a whole mess of other stuff as well. But thats if i plan on tracking or racing with it....right???? What if i just wanted ~300 hp for the sake of having 300 hp? I only plan on commuting around with it.. [yea i know its a total waste of a supra but oh well -_-] im talking like 50 mph city and 75 mph highway, and of course occasionally going 100+mph on the highway when its empty :] But since i wont be doing any sharp turns and other 2fast2furious manuevers, will all the other upgrades seriously be needed [brakes, wheels etc]? |
