Default Please Help Need Ecu Mkiv N/a Auto

i could really use some help i am trying to fix my brothers car while he is at boot camp for the marines he has a 95 toyota supra n/a automatic and is is not running and the ecu is bad and unrebuildable and i have been unable to find one to replace it so we can get it fixed before he comes home. what really sucks is that he bought the 10 days before he left for boot camp and only got to drive it twice before it messed up so please help if you can. give me a call

If you're 100% sure that the ecu is bad, the only choice is replacement. You might be able to find one on ebay...just be sure it's for an n/a auto, and the correct year. Worst case, you may need to purchase a replacement ecu from Toyota.

i am 100% sure the ecu is bad. there is no check engine light coming on when you turn the key on which means the ecu is bad.

the problem i am having is i connot find an ecu and i allready had this one rebuilt and it is still not fixed.

toyota says there are none available in us or japan.

i have only been able to find five speed ones so far

Could also mean a bad connection between the ecu and the harness, for example...

Just be patient...parts for the mkiv are posted on ebay occasionally. This is a rare car though, so the total volume of parts is somwhat limited (i.e. specific used parts are only available infrequently).

You could try posting WTB posts on this forum, and others.
