Ok so I'm looking at a 1997 Supra TT 15th Anniversary Edition Sport roof. The car is 100% stock, no mods with 74640 miles. I did a carfax on it and everything checks out with what I've been told thus far. I did have a couple of questions:
1) is there a stock boost gauge for the Supras?
2) When the car starts up the warning light in the RMP gauge lights up.... what does this mean?
3) Are there any little details I should look for when I check out the car.... ones that only Supra owners should be able to find/tell me?
Any advice you could give me would rock out hardcore. Thanks

yes ,they come with a boost gauge(i don't know how accurate it is)stock, almost every car i've ever driven either new or used have these lights come on at start up.it's just to make sure the light and sensor work.if the light stays on as the car runs there is probably something wrong.turn the car off and check the codes with a jumper or an obd one or two scanner.if the light shuts off after the car is started that is normal.if you have or are a mechanic inspect cylinder compression, leak down test, test every thing.have someone drive behind you to make sure the car is not dog legged ,remove wheels and inspect brakes and suspension,if all major things check out, buy, buy, buy!!!

Boost gauge is stock, but they're slow from what I understand.

The LSD's aren't know to go out easy on the Supra, being excellent Torsen units.

The only thing i would be suspicous about is if the price was too low, what do they want for it?
