NYC OBD1 emissions test - JDM
 

I'm looking to import a car and register it legally in NYC(94 JDM Supra). i was wondering if the city requires a visual inspection, or is it just dependent on passing the dyno/smog test? What problems may I run into registering a JDM spec supra here in NYC??

Will the check the ECU, even though it's OBD1?? Can I change the JDM ECU to a USDM.... ... temporarily???
