Honestly, you're pretty much stuck - the only significant performance boost (other than turbo(s), as you mentioned) you can give it is a shot of nitrous.

93 supra non turbo
things you can do to your non turbo supra ( apart from turbo conv.)
-change exhaust, all the way from the manifold with 3 inch piping with a cannon muffler. -change the airfilter box into a pod filter -lower the suspension Just doing these things will make a big difference to the way the car drives. I should know I have a 93 supra non turbo myself. I did these things and the car drives so much better... also don't forget to always put top of the range pump fuel, nothing but the best |

N/A Supra.
I have a 1993 N/A 2JZ supra in NSW Australia.
When I first purchased it it was stock. I visited a local performance shop and had a HKS pod filter, extractor and a Genie exhaust system. The pod filter and extractor is an illegal mod within Australia unless you have an engineer certificate so you might be defected if pulled over. You can build a box over the pod filter but that defines the point of having one. (You wont be able to see the extractor unless the police have a good know and know what they're looking for.. The extractor is PRIMARY: 2 inch and Secondary 2 1/2 inch. The difference in the car from which I first got it compared to now... The car does pick up a lot better in low rpm and is a lot of fun. I have had the car over 12 months now and love it more and more everyday. -Corey. |
