2jzge BUILD....NEED HELP
 

Hi all this is my first post. I am planning on buying a used 2jzge, or if I can find one, a 2jzgte engine or block and building it up from bottom up. I want to eventually turbo the engine when I get to that point and was wondering if one block or the other was better. I was wondering if there was a place where I could find the clearances between the piston and the cylinder wall and stuff like that. Also I've read on other forums that the 2jzge has different compression and oil squirters than the gte. Does that make a huge difference if im building from bottom up? Any help would be appriciated. Dont be too hard if I made any mistakes or if Im asking questions that have been answered over and over.

Why do you want to "build" a 2jz-gte? It comes ready to handle 1000hp right out of the box.

All of the clearances are specified in the TSRM.

Yep, the compression ratio and the oil squirters do make a big difference.
