Default W58 Transmission no reverse

I have a 2jzgte swapped starion, i swapped the external shifter for a internal one. It's not going into reverse, i'm not sure if it was this way when i got it. It shifts fine in the other gears but not reverse. What do u think my problem could be?

Unfortunately, I've never rebuilt a W58 (mine's a 6spd). I know we have several very knowledgeable MKIII folks that might have W58 experience. I'd suggest adding a post to that forum as well in case someone there has an answer:

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
