Possibly Buying Supra 1994 Twin Turbo
Hi,
This is my first post, but recently i was browsing around and I came across a supra twin turbo for $4,800 at first I thought it was a joke, but after talking to the owner, a it seems legit, he wants to do the deal through ebay so we are both 100% fraud protected, but it still seems too good to be true, he even sent me a website of pictures and specs, could some of you take a look and tell me what you think? Thanks a lot PS hopefully I will be a proud supra owner in the near future! Last edited by pwpanas; 10-06-2009 at 10:40 AM. |

He hasn't posted it on ebay yet since he's waiting for me to make a decision to buy it. He says hes a sergeant and just recently was moved to canada for work and doesn't want to go through the trouble of unregistering it in the US and re-registering it in Canada. He says he will ship it through US military air cargo since he gets that for free. The ebay deal makes it seem the most legit though. He wants to give me 15 days to look it over when I get it, only after those 15 days will he get my money, otherwise if I dont like it he will get it shipped back to canada and try to resell it.

Just a little info. for anyone who gets something like this. It's a total scam. I went through this and when I asked the supposed lady....she said she lives in Garden Grove.....where I do. I said I can come by any night to check out the car and have cash on hand. She insisted that we go through the ebay thing to protect both of us. BS....what's there to protect if I come over see the car and hand you over cash.....unless you think it's counterfeit.
I have since noticed that they seem to place those ads for supras because it attracts us. Same crap every single time. Use ebay, protect both of us, don't like the car, send it back at my expense.....blah, blah, blah. |
