That said, some Japanese engine importers do have used 2jz-gte engines, but usually they're for an Aristo and not a Supra. This means that, among other things, the oil pan needs to be swwapped. To put a 2jz-gte into an n/a chassis you'll need a 2jz-gte primary wiring harness, ignitor, resistor pack, and ecu (at the very least). Yes, there are a lot of differences besides the engine. I'll post a few threads on that topic here for your reference: http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...a-6-speed.html http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...d-already.html http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...ge-vs-gte.html http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...supra-n-a.html http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...win-turbo.html http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...-question.html http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...-question.html P.S. There's no need to start two different threads with the same questions to get a response... |
