Lights staying on when car is off... ???
Hi Guys,
Hopefully you can help me out. I have a 95 rz manual and the last few days whenever I get out of the car the lights stay on. It started with just the indicator staying on but now the headlights stay on and wont go off at all even if I start the car again and try to switch them off. The only way they will go off is if I disconnect the battery. Obviously I cant keep doing this. Is there anyone out there that might know what the problem is and how I can fix it??? Its really bugging me out !!! Cheers |

Moving this to the MKIV section where it belongs....
After you reconnect the battery do the lights come right back on or do they then remain off? If the come back on I'd start with testing the switch; If not I'd start with the relay. I'm not terribly familiar with the MKIV's electrical system so if there's more to this hopefully one of the folks in the MKIV section will chime in. Good luck!
