WTK Part numbers from engine number
hey guys-did a full conversion(engine, diff, tranny) on my supra from non turbo- turbo
because of this sometimes i need parts for the engine and transmission, however because i have no vin number i find it very difficult(most sites require a vin). Is there any website i can use to obtain a vin number or part numbers using my engine number |
You can search by category and description here: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/ You may either enter a VIN or you may drill down by selecting model/year/equipment. Unfortunately, they were forced by Toyota to remove their picture catalog...
Another place you can search (with pictures) is www.toyotaworld.com (Champion Toyota of Texas). Their site won't provide part numbers though, but it has pictures... click on 'Buy parts online' to enter their online shop. Hopefully someone has some more options for you as well, those are all I know of for the MKIV. |
the problem is i dont know the year of the engine.
iknow it came out of a toyota aristo... but thats all i got and the engine number |
Well, I don't know a lot about what all was changed from one revision to the next.... hopefully someone will chime in with more. Is the engine VVT-I equipped? Post the numbers you do have (engine, ECU part number...)
