An unmodified Mkiv TT can run reliably to 200,000 miles or more if well-maintained and unmodified. The "etc." in your description of modifications has me worried though. In general, it's a good plan, but maintenance and quality of modifications are key to reliability.

Note: Threads merged - why did you double-post your question?

ok thanks I will find out what else is done to the car I guess I can always rebuild the engine to handle big hp if it pops.. What about the drive train and gearbox??? Will they need a rebuild aroung 200.000miles????

The engine won't "pop" unless you try increasing the boost without running any race fuel. The oem 2jz-gte is a rock.

With proper maintenance, the 6spd transmission and oem tt diff won't need a rebuild around 200K miles unless they've been abused or poorly maintained. Minor items may need to be replaced however (eg. new oil seals).

Note - it's fairly common for the seal around the shift shaft to leak. The usual fix is to (carefully!!!) remove the leaking one, and then replace it with two brand-new oem seals (yes, there is room for two). The seal removal is tricky because the tranny case is aluminum - any tool tough enough to hook the seal and pull it out could easily scratch the bore (which would lead to leakage even with a new seal). If you're interested, the tool I made to do this job was a tiny, flattened hook that I slid on the inside of the seal, between the shift shaft and the seal. Pulling in this part of the seal only kept the hook far away from the aluminum. Also note that this fix is pretty much only for the more anal-retentive Supra owners - the shift shaft is at the top of the tranny, so it doesn't leak much at all from that point (just enough to put a layer of dust on that part of the tranny).
