1993.5 Premier Mk4 n/a questions
Hi I just bought myself a 93 N/A premier Mk4 bone stock and put in a nice wide body kit and fully repainted the car to gunmetal but now I need some help...
1) What kind of turbo can I put into this car if I want a lot of power? 2) What is a perfect wheel offset/width to make it look "flush"? (19x8.5 and 19x10?) 3) Does anyone want to trade their TT Mk4 for my n/a...I will add cash on top... Let me know. Thanks! Mk4 |

2) If your body were still stock, you could figure it out from the oem offsets, which are +50 (front and rear)...the widest rear tire you can run with the oem fenders is a 315, with the inner fender lip cut. Oh, and why would you run a 19 on the rear? If you want "a lot of power", a 19" rim on the rear (with a the narrow sidewall you need to make it fit), you'll just sit there and spin. 18s or 17s on the rear with a fat sidewall will give you some traction and let you put that power to good use. HOWEVER - with your widebody kit (which one???), you may have to measure and do some custom calculations, since the amount of width added with the widebody kits can vary. 3) Rofl ;) j/k |

thanks for the advice on the turbo...I think it is the TRD wide body....not quite sure but do you think 18s are good enough?...and yes i do want a lot of traction...if I go with 17/18s what is the ideal tire size to go with if I want to do double staggered...I measured it today, I need 8.5 wheels for the front fender and 10.25 in the rear to make it look flush...what do you think? plz help!

You can fit 11.5" wide rear rims and 315 width rubber under the *stock* rear fenders. with a widebody you might be able to fit 335s on 13" rims |
