I got the car thurday and the engine was extremely clean. Look like it was rebuilt. thx for the help pwpanas and he didnt have the maintainence record.

Did you check the inside of the engine, or just the outside? With regular, synthetic oil changes, the inside should be clean as a whistle.

my mechanic gave the car a clean bill of health. Engine and Tranny are in awesome form.

What were the compression and leakdown test numbers?
