Omg...an Mkiv TT already does haul ass!!! The Mkiv TT does not need a "small block" v8 - that would be a downgrade! Again, the bone-stock oem 2jz-gte is 1000-hp capable (i.e. MUCH more capable than an off-balance "small block" v8...).

Just going for something different. Nothing American is affordable really and I refuse to put a Corvette IRS in my car lol, Viper parts on classic Mopars have been done to death, I know the Supras handle extremely well and parts are plentiful and affordable compared to anything American that I have found. Didn't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers over this and my apologies if I have. I won't be getting a road worthy car to do this with. I'll be looking for a parts car or a wrecked one and salvage the parts from it. I wouldn't have the heart to pull the parts from a car that is still in decent shape. So essentially, I'm not pulling a Supra off the road, I'm putting parts of a "dead" one back on the road!

I'd ask that you at least consider the mighty 2jz-gte among your list of options for this back-from-the-grave project...

It's a 3.0L Inline 6 - so overbuilt that it's capable of 35psi of forced induction, and reliably delivering 1000hp, over and over and over and over again ... in bone-stock form! You'll find one in every Mkiv TT Supra.

Hmm, sounds very tempting..... If I can find other means of a**kicking suspension for my 67 Barracuda, I may just rebuild a Supra as well!
