Whats the best oil to put in my mk4?

Full synthetic 10w30. Any brand is fine ... the absolute best-of-the-best is probably Amsoil.

Can i buy that oil in any auto part store or do i have to order it online. The previous owner of my mk4 only used royal purple 10w-30.:bow:

Royal purple is just fine. Amsoil is only sold through independent (small specialized) dealers, and online, as far as I know.

Probably yes, but I honestly don't know about the n/a mkiv for sure. The TT uses 10w30. However, I do know that the n/a 2jz-ge vvti in the Lexus GS300 uses 5w30...

Amsoil is German oil, you can buy it online and the only other place I've ever found it is Peevey Mart, I know they have them in Canada but I'm not sure about the states, my dad runs amsoil in everything and his friend who owns a oilfield company uses it in all his big trucks, the oil is really hard to heat up I've heard and stays cool a lot longer, as well as a better life :p
