Car starts up fine and runs fine until you step on the gas. Then it starts idling rough and eventually floods itself. Had a journeyman mechanic over to look at it, and he figured it was either on the ignition side, or the fuel delivery side (injectors). We picked away at the ignition side, new coil, new ignitor, new distributor, new plugs all around, but it's still doing it.The car starts and runs, but runs very rich. It'll run ad idle like that forever, but if you step on the gas, it'll stall. What do you guys think the problem could be.

2) What kind of Mkiv Supra Turbo do you have? Turbo or n/a? Japanese-spec or US-spec? 3) Please list the modifications, mileage, and maintenance records. 4) Did it used to run fine? ...if so, what happened since then? My first guess knowing nothing at all about your car would be a boost leak, if it's a US-spec Mkiv Supra Turbo. Did your uber journeyman master mega mechanic pressurize the charge-air system? Did he/she do a compression test before he had you spend money on plugs, ignitor, etc.
