hello everyone i had a quick question i am wanting to see if this is possible...
i want to buy a Toyota Supra 3.0l 6 non-turbo standard shell and i want to drop a twin turbo with 6 speed in it... is this possible or should i save up some more and go ahead and get a twin turbo shell. Thanks, Zach P.S. which do you guys prefer... twin turbo or just a single turbo? |

Your question about single vs. twin is a bit confusing. Are you asking about stock Toyota turbos? Or are you asking about aftermarket single turbo kits vs. aftermarket twin turbo kits? Sequential twin turbos are better than a single turbo. However a single turbo is better than parallel twin turbos (due to lower price, fewer failure points, and equal performance). The oem twin turbos on the Mkiv Supra TT are sequential. However, they're not big enough to make a lot of horsepower. The most cost effective way to get more horsepower is a big single (aftermarket) kit. Oh, just in case you weren't clear about this, the Mkiv Supra Turbo never came from Toyota with the option of a single turbo. All single turbos for the Mkiv Supra Turbo are aftermarket.
