Sorry I should of read what section this was in. The ct12b on the 2j are good quality turbos. The valve seals that were used for some reason have a high failure rate... I used felpro seals as a replacement cuz they are made of a Viton rubber which is very durable..
Here is a good how to.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthr...al-Replacement Ps. Get the valve spring tool it is worth the money.. I used long long nose needle noses to pull old seals out and it worked good! But get the valve keeper tool!
