hey guys whats up thanks for takin the time and awnserin my Q's im sure yall get this all the time.

1. will a 5 spd tranny off a 2jzGE bolt up to 2jzgte?

2. how much tq are the drive train parts rated to? 5spd tranny? auto tranny?
(not worried bout 6spd cuz i know ppl have that in their 900plus rwhp MKIV's)

3. how much hp can the stock GTE engine take?

4. how much tq can the diff take?

the 5spd tranny will mate to the 2jzgte, but why? u can have a six speed manual instead....the stock 2jzgte motor can take a lot of power on stock internals there are a couple supras taht i know that make about 800hp on stock internals, you can always upgrade them to make sure nothing goes wrong, and the stock diff can also take a generous amount of power but this number i dont really know, but then again...its good to change it if you plan to make a lot of power

well 5spd because... i plan to buy a wrecked non turbo 95. and its 5 spd.
i also plan to buy a 2jz gte from jdmenginedepot.com and they come complete engine but with Auto. so i mean id rather have the 6spd. but for the time id just hook up the 5 spd... i mean y not unless i could trade or sell both for a 6 spd...

you could probably find a cheap 6spd transmission of a supra front clip, they arent really that expensive, you could probably sell the 2jzge motor and the transmission and be able to afford both the tranny and the motor for a turbo, you could trade clips depending which dealer you are dealing with

The GETRAG 6-speed isn't cheap at all, they don't make repair parts, so it better be in working order. You're looking at $6k for a new one, and not much less for a used one in good working order...

i saw a mag with a guy running 940 rwhp and stock getrag 6 spd.

yea the getrag trannies are built to be beaten up on...theyre very durable

man my friend and I are just waiting til we find a nice used and beaten up.

looking for one under 10 k so if you guys hear of any let me know. and of corase itd prob be non turbo for that price. and it can be a shell....
