I everyone.
So update on the car is had trouble with the turbo leaking oil out in front and the back had the seals replaced on my new turbo and it was okay did like 2 events and a dyno and now the turbo is starting again o and it smokes between gears changes dont know why it keeps doing it. But its in to get the luanch controll connected up and to set the boost up if the turbo is going to handle it.lol |

1) Are you using 100% pure synthetic oil on all of your oil changes? 2) Do you have an oil filter installed in the oil line feeding the turbo? 3) Do you have a restrictor installed in the oil line feeding the turbo? (Note that HKS turbos come with a restrictor built into the oil line fitting on the top of the turbo. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...oil_restrictor |
I just changed the oil it had synthetic oil in changed it to semi synthetic because I change the oil about every 3 months.
No I don't have a filter. It has a 3mm restrictor in. |

3mm is quite large - you may wish to consider a smaller diameter restrictor and an oil filter in your turbo's oil feed line. The smaller restrictor may fix your turbo oil seal leaks, and the filter will help keep the restrictor from getting blocked by random debris (or particles of coked non-synthetic oil) that may end up in your crankcase. This restrictor has a .04" (1.016 mm) oil passage: http://www.frsport.com/Turbo-Oil-Res...FQto7Aod-iwA-w A 1mm restriction has 0.785 sq. mm. area, and a 3mm restriction has a 7.065 sq. mm area (9 times greater). Although I'm not a fluid dynamics engineer, I'm sure a hole that's 9 times bigger will flow quite a bit more oil... |
I need advise on launch control we can't get the chip to read the crank signal black/red wire any advise..

Are you using the oem crank signal, or have you equipped the harmonic dampener with a secondary (eg. hall effect) magnet & sensor? |
Everything is running fine.
Using oem crank signal. |

When I was running my Haltech E6K, this was a required modification. Check out the link in my last post (above), and let me know if you have any questions. |
Yes I agree but if I do the aftermarket crank signal how do I do the timing how will the stock ecu read the signal and how do I cut the timing for the launch controll
