Import Mark IV RHD Supra
I'm from the United States and was wondering can a RHD supra be imported. I have done some research and it is not of the list of "nonconforming vehicles" which means crash testing would be required. How can this vehicle be imported. I live in Michigan and would buy it in Canada and bring it across. Any ideas?? I would have to fill out 6 forms and do EPA testing on the vehicle. The reason I ask is because on ebay right now there is a RHD supra for sale that is registed in Texas...

If I do pick this thing up, should I trailor it across? I assume so. Any words of wisdom? I'm going to take a look at it next friday! Anyone know of how to obtain crash test data for RHD? I tried calling Toyota out in California and they had no information.

You also may find useful information here: http://cbp.gov/ For example, this looks like a good article: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/cl...utomobiles.xml
