TT MkIV Engine Number
Hi - Anyone able to help?? I've just bought a '95 TT 6 speed and the V5 registration document says "Engine number not known" I know where to find it on the engine block but will need to remove undertray plates which I'd rather not do.. I have the original Japanese service book for the car and there is a number shown which could be the engine number, but I don't know what format it is usually in - the number is Y34=3336 or I've got E-JZA80 ALFQZ - could either of those be the engine number?

TT Mk IV Engine Number
Thanks pwpanas - was hoping someone who knows their engine number could help as I have no idea what format it may take - I have the VIN number so that is no problem - don't think the engine number would just be 2JZ-GTE..
