I know this isn't much of an introduction, but I happen to lurk around these forums a lot and decided to finally come out and play. I own a N/A 1994 Supra and it's been in the shop for a while.
Long story short, my computer has gone out in my vehicle. I had some general questions. For starters, would any of you happen to know of any reliable sources that rebuild computers? I've also tried speaking with several mechanics, and none of them know (including my own), so I figured I'd ask you guys. I would assume that toyota used the same computer for their n/a supras 93-98. Do I have to have the exact matching year computer (94) for my car or would any of the computers from 93-98 work just in case I decide to not go the route of getting the computer rebuilt. Thanks for any information you guys provide. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them as best I can. -Blake. |
