Im trying to get in the Supra game, I currently have my eye on a 95 Singled T-70 with fairly light modifications. He currently has a full Apexi N1 exhaust its a straight shot from the down pipe ( no cat/ no mid pipe ). The car is also running an AEM Stand Alone V2, now my question...the car is OBD1 I will need to pass emission's in virginia , I need some advice on whether I would be able to slap a high flo cat on and possibly tune the vehicle as close to the stock settings as I can in order to pass the Sniff test. Currently the car is running a bit rich, I just need some advice on this virginia is brutal with the emissions and im not trying to be stuck with this Supra and not have a shot in hell at registering it.

2) Yes, it should pass tailpipe 'sniffer' emissions with a high flow cat and a well-tuned AEM. Have your tuner lean the H-E-double-hockey-sticks out of it. 3) Why did you create two separate threads with exactly the same post in each?

1) Yes, it was originally a TT, he now has a single T70 set up on it.
2) I'm going to try and slap on a high flo cat and leave the tune as is and just see if it will pass and if it fails at least I will see exactly how badly. 3) I think I accidentally clicked too many times or something, internet is glitchy where I am now. Thanks for the response I will keep everyone updated on how this goes |
