Which Year Mkiv Would You Buy?
 

Like it says which year would you pick if you had a choice?
and why?

Im looking to buy, just curious why there are so many 1997's for sale and hardly any 1996's?

I know that originally the 97's msrp was dropped by about 10000 grand compared to a 1996.

97 or 98 or maybe a 93

well you would really need to look at the year 2 year chages..

( there is a link here somewhere) with the 97 or 98 you would get the newer lights and probobly a couple of other things.. better resale.
then again 93 is the first year, the birth of the monster, with the older lights ( both the new and the old look really good to me ) its hard to say every year has something to it , 96 had problems with emissions , I think...

But overall its hard to say.. there arent any drastic differences.


P.S In japan didnt they go up to like 2000

93 is just as fast as a 98, yea in japan they stopped producing them in like 2001 or sumtin like that...dont remember, 93 is basically the same car as teh 98...minor differences as trafik says...head and taillights are different, also the motors too...n/a was introduced with teh vvt-i...i think for 97..., turbo was basically the same though i think there was a power increase somewhere...but not a huge amount

ahhh...93 is the fastest model....i am wrong and i apologize.... thats a hot link right there....maybe that will solve the gf's mother vs. the turbo supra thread ...which makes it look like the supra wins.. i like that page... nice post cure
