Buying supra, few questions

Hey guys I'm just curious, I'm going to buy a 1995 NA supra with the 5 speed. I will be putting the supra store stage 2 turbo kit on it. I'm wondering how many kms would be to much? If the car has 120 000 or more should a guy be worried about putting the turbo kit on or would it still be fine and run strong? The car has Been taken car of and not abused at all.

Let me know your input. Thanks alot

Properly maintained, 120K km is nothing. I've heard of LOTS of guys going single turbo on a properly maintained Mkiv Supra Turbo at 100K miles, with excellent results.

Your bigger worries are how the rest of that automotive system designed for 220hp will handle the upgrade. For example, the n/a rear rims are narrow, and the brakes are somewhat pathetic, so you'll:
- Spin the tires because they're too narrow
- Get going really fast when you finally get some traction
- Then you won't be able to stop (poor braking power, which deteriorates quickly as the brakes overheat and fade).

I agree, it's all in the way the car was maintained. Mine has 130k and it runs amazing, Overall the breaking system is not near the level of the TT cars from what I have read. You get that much HP the car is going to go that much faster, which in turn will need to stop that much better. How much HP does a kit like that make at the wheels?
I also agree with the wider wheels, it would make a huge difference in traction.

Good Luck!
