Default Info on Supra MKIV european version

I'm currently looking to buy a supra MkIV the european version with the 2JZ-GTE engine and twin turbo's but I've hit an obstacle I was told that when looking at the engine tag to look for R-JZA80-ALMVZ (as the R stand for European Export), but a yahoo search finds nothing for this code, I want to make sure that this information is correct or incorrect before I proceed. Thanks.

Please try to post in the correct section. In most cases it should be obvious but if you are unsure each sub-forum has a description which you can read from the main directory. This obviously belongs in the MKIV section, not "non-generation specific" and definitely not in any of the FAQ sections. I'll move this to the MKIV section for you.

Sorry I don't have info on this, but Toyota might. I'd suggest you call Curt Aigner at Elmhurst Toyota. Please PM me if you can't find the phone number...

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
