E85 help!
I have been reading into E85 and have been very interested in possibly switching over to it but I have a couple of concerns. I am currently running the AEM EMS V2 and was wondering how I would go about making sure that when I fill up at the gas station that I am getting enough of a ethanol content to make sure it runs correctly because Ive read that the contents can vary.
Also, when I go to fill up at the station and I'm going from 93 to E85, how would I know Im getting enough ethanol to run my E85 map? In order for me to switch back and forth, I'm going to have my shop install me a knob that I can turn to go from my 93 map to my 93+meth and then E85. My main concerns are mainly how to make sure Im running the correct octane for my E85 map and how I would go about switching between maps when I fill up. Should I hang my head in shame for not going the ProEfi route? Or will I be able to make E85 work with the AEM? Thanks for the help! |
