Default Previous owner removed antenna

As the title says, previous owner removed the antenna on my 1995 mkiv. I did a search and I couldn't seem to find the best option to replace it. The aftermarket stereo he installed does have an antenna, but I guess he decided it would be better to leave a hole in the body, which has me fearing rust. Any thoughts?

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.

I agree the oem antenna should be replaced. I'd recommend another oem power antenna, from Toyota. Your local Toyota dealership should be able to help you out.

If you're looking for something less expensive, you'll probably have to go to an electronics retailer (eg. Best Buy)...their car stereo dept. should be able to:
1) install an affordable aftermarket antenna that fits
...and...more importantly...
2) ensure the oem antenna wire was properly connected to the aftermarket stereo.

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
