I believe your least expensive route may be to look for a used seat, complete with motor. Alternatively, you could get a new power seat motor from Toyota, if that actually is the problem.

Just curious - do you hear the motor trying to work if you try to make it move forward? This may indicate whether or not the motor itself is still working (i.e. perhaps the problem is not with the motor).

For example, the problem might (in theory) be the switch that indicates the seat is in the fully-back position. If that sensor has failed in the closed position, it could cause the rearward position of the seat forward/back switch to not work. That sensor, even brand new from Toyota, is likely quite inexpensive...if you're really lucky, perhaps this is the issue.

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
