This connecters consist of some 60 wires.....Also 2 of the 3 connectors to the ECU are present on the wireharness. The third either connected another ecu or was just imbedded in the j-spec body.
It looks like im going to return the engine to the JDM depot or cought up around 6 more g's to get the engine stripped down and rebuilt to US-spec. I got lots of pics of it if anyone wants to see. I assure though, to the average mechanic its hopeless.
Please do post the pictures.

I'd also mention that the VAST majority of JDM 2jz-gte's available for sale in the US are from Aristo's (and not from Supras). As a result, there are a few physical differences between the two engines, including the oil pan.

I agree it's a tough project, but doable for a good shop experienced in Mkiv Supra Turbos. For example, I've personally seen a number of these completed Mkiv Supras with US NA->JDM TT from AAP Motorsports in Atlanta, Georgia, US. Again, it's doable but I agree it's far from an easy project.

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
